VAT Display Requirements for Oman Restaurant Menus
Guide to Oman's 5% VAT display rules for restaurant menus since April 2021.
## Oman's VAT Introduction
Oman introduced a 5% VAT in April 2021, becoming the last GCC country to implement the tax. Restaurant menus must now display VAT-inclusive prices, with the Tax Authority requiring clear labeling.
## Requirements
- All menu prices must be VAT-inclusive
- A statement confirming VAT inclusion should appear on the menu
- The restaurant's VAT registration number must be displayed
- Receipts must show VAT separately
